With the Olympics over we're venturing out of our cocoon. Heading out on more local hikes and missions, taking advantage of the relatively mild weather lately - it's hovering around freezing but no new snow. Cool but sunny, and we bundle him up snug as a bug before popping him in the stroller or baby carrier.
Cedar is growing like crazy and in great health. He recently had a heart test as a routine follow-up, because of the low heart rate he had during and after labour. Everything was perfectly normal, and he weighs 9+ lbs now, so he's put on more than 50% of his birth weight, hooray for power nursing! You can sure see a big difference already, check out the progression...
2 days old, in Dad's hands
3 days old in Mom's hands
1 week (his umbilical cord fell off at 2 wks)
2 weeks: more of Auntie's Jane's newborn photo session
3 weeks, what lips!
4 weeks, havin' a bath
5 weeks
6 weeks already!
Hi grandparents...
this photo-fest is mainly for you.
Sending you all Cedar hugs and kisses!
