Baby's 1st Christmas

This time last year we were hunkered down in Quebec, awaiting the arrival of our little one.  Wow, the year sure went by in a flash.

Here are some rare shots of outdoor winter play with baby... it's been so cold lately (often -25 to -30 C) that we've been keeping him inside, and forgetting to bring the camera when we do venture out.  The snowshoeing around our place, especially on the frozen lake, is so tranquil and beautiful!

 

 
We were able to spend some time with all three sets of parents over the holidays, and everyone was excited about baby's first Christmas.  Of course the only place we were organized enough to take any pictures was at home, duh.  But Cedar had a riot playing with his cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents.  At 11 months he didn't quite get the concept of opening presents, but he sure had fun playing with his toys, and the boxes in which they arrived :)

 

 

 

We now have 5 chomping teeth!  Three on top and two on the bottom, though try as we might there is no photo evidence.
